Returns

We want to make sure you're fully satisfied with your purchase. Accordingly, in addition to the standard Limited Warranty provided with the product, which covers product defects in workmanship and material, we accept returns of unused or defective merchandise for 7 days from the receipt of the shipment with a 20% Restocking/Service Charge. (See below for details.) Simply call Northern Fan at 613-723-3267, or send an email to info@northernfan.com to request a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) Number. Our Service Representative will assist you with the returns procedure. We reserve the right to change our policy.

What can be returned?

        - Be returned within 7 days of receipt of shipment

        - Be free from scratches, defects, marks, fingerprints and/or defects, and in complete resalable condition

        -Not have been assembled, installed, or had wires cut

        -Blades and parts packages must be unopened in original packaging

        -Be in the original packaging, on which there must not be any writing on the original packaging (aside from carrier's shipping labels)

"Clearance", discontinued, and "special order" products are not eligible for return under this policy. All returns will be inspected for conditions and contents. If the returned product fails to meet all of the above criteria, no credit will be given and someone from Northern Fan will contact you to offer the option of returning the product to you, or disposing of it for you.

How do I set up a return?

How do I cancel my order?

Please call Northern Fan at 613-723-3267 or send an email to info@northernfan.com to request an order cancelation. We highly recommend you do this quickly to prevent any order processing charges. You can request a cancelation up until we ship your stocked product. Once items have been shipped, the order can not be canceled. "Special Orders" can not be canceled.

What prevents me from receiving credit back for a returned item?

All returned items will be inspected for condition and contents. If the returned items are found to be incomplete or in used condition, your return will not be processed.

For your item to be returned, it MUST meet the following criteria:

        - Be free from scratches, defects, marks, fingerprints and/or defects, and in complete resalable condition

        -Not have been assembled, installed, or had wires cut

        -Be in the original packaging, on which there must not be any writing on the original packaging (aside from carrier's shipping labels)

        -Blades and parts packages must be unopened in original packaging

        -Item is complete in original packaging, with out writing or marks.

Are there restocking/service charges for a processed return?

Yes. Your credit will include the price of the returned item(s) and any taxes, less a 20% service charge, and shipping charges. Your credit will appear after Northern Fan has received and processed your returned item(s).

My purchase was damaged during shipping. How do I return it?

Please inspect the product immediately when you receive it. If it appears damaged you can refuse the shipment as "damaged - return to sender". Product damaged in shipment that you accept delivery of is subject to  our standard return policy. After the product has been marked, assembled, cut or installed we will not be able to help with any complaints of damage, including visible or material defects.
